• Payment information — we never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details. These are collected and processed directly by our payment partner, Razorpay, under its own security standards and privacy policy.

• To process your donation and send you confirmation of it.
• To issue a donation receipt, and an 80G tax-exemption receipt where applicable and registered, on request.
• To respond to questions or messages you send us.
• To keep internal records of our donors and supporters.
• To meet legal, accounting, or regulatory requirements.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Who We Share Information With

We share limited information with the services that help us run this website and process donations:

• Razorpay (payment processing) — receives your name, email, phone, and donation amount to process the transaction.
• Sanity (content management) — stores website content and contact messages we choose to keep for follow-up; it does not process card payments.
• Vercel (website hosting) — processes web traffic to serve this site; standard server logs may include your IP address.

We do not share your information with any other third party except where required by law.

4. Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. An admin session cookie may be set only for staff using the private admin panel. Standard technical cookies may also be set by our hosting or payment provider to keep the site and checkout functioning correctly.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including restricting access to donor records and using a payment partner that is PCI-DSS compliant. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain donation records for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and legal purposes. You may ask us to delete other personal information we hold about you, subject to our legal obligations.
